School Arrangements and Risk Assessments

If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, OR you have received a positive coronavirus (COVID-19) test result, the clear medical advice is to immediately self-isolate at home for at least 10 days from when your symptoms started.

You can test on day 5 and 6 of your isolation using a Lateral Flow Test.  If these tests are both negative, then your child can return to school.

If they are still testing postiive, then they should test daily until day 10.  If they test negative on 2 consecutive days in this period then they can return to school.  Even if you are testing positive on day 10, you can also return to school.

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You should arrange to have a test to see if you have COVID-19 – go to testing to arrange.
